Keynotes and Workshops

Looking for a great speaker or workshop leader?

Randall Craig runs workshops and delivers keynotes on four main topics:  Career Development, Networking for Success, Work-Life Balance, and Social Media.  He does this for 12-person teams, 800 person webcasts, and at conferences with over 1500 people in the audience. Each session is customized for the specific audience.

Randall Craig's keynotes, webinars, and workshops are designed to motivate - but each individual leaves with the ability - and tools - to translate key concepts into actionable next steps.

Career CEO
You can't manage your career if you're not in charge of it.

Employee disengagement is one of the toughest management problems today.  One of the root causes is a lack of control over personal destiny.  This presentation helps each attendee understand their responsibility as the CEO of their career. It is designed to educate the attendee about the subject, introduce the Career Commitment Chart planning tool, and then help them define a list of specific development activities that will help them achieve their self-selected goals. This is available in a one hour keynote, half-day seminar, or two-day workshop.

Networking Skills for Success
Give to Get: Helping others help you succeed

Whether you are selling a product, a service, or yourself, the relationship will always cement the deal.  In this presentation, participants will learn a systematic process to develop and nurture relationships – and then how to close the sale.  This isn't a "how to schmooze" workshop, but one that provides specific guidance on how to grow value and influence with others. This session starts the process of networking by providing tools for attendees to meet each other, and gain greater value from the conference itself. Participants will leave with a specific plan of action.  NOTE:  This topic is delivered in one of several versions:  For conferences (to improve the value proposition of the conference itself), for sales-oriented employees (focused on business development), for delivery-oriented employees (to improve teamwork), and for people in transition (eg for job search).

Achieve! Life! Balance!
Practical tools and the mindset to achieve balance

Is achieving Balance your New Year's Resolution - every year? Are you tired of Work-Life Balance training that only deals with stress and time management?  Is there a better way to balance work and life - and succeed in both?   And how do you introduce this concept to your organization, without sacrificing productivity?  Based on Randall Craig's research and concepts from his books, learn:

  • How to choose a Work-Life Balance that's right for you
  • Practical techniques to help broaden focus - and still perform
  • The vocabulary that empowers attendees to take personal responsibility for their Balance choices.
  • How to use the Personal Balance Sheet Action Planner to translate concepts to action.

Social Media without wasting your time, losing your identity, or getting disqualified
How to use the tools efficiently - and reduce risk - for attendees and their organizations

It's all the rage to talk about LinkedIn, Facebook, and the 300+ other social networks that exist.  It's even more exciting to implement a strategy... until something goes wrong.  What to do about imposters and identity theft?  What can you do if no one actually wants to be your "friend"?  In this fast-paced presentation, Randall Craig, author of Online PR and Social Media, provides practical advice into how to efficiently grow your online reputation, while also reducing your risk. Note: there is a different version of this presentation for organizations, which focuses more on corporate strategy, and online marketing.

Please call Randall Craig directly at 416-256-7773, to discuss your needs in greater detail.
